First Edition of [psi] Sold Out and Buyback

I am announcing that today (exactly two years after publication!) the first printing of the book [psi] is officially sold out. Unfortunately, the printing house is late with the delivery of the second Slovenian printing because (as they say) they prioritized the German and English translations. The Croatian translation and the second Slovenian printing are expected to be available from July 20th. It is probably still possible to get a book from the first printing in some bookstores (I know that Natalija at Čopova has a small stock! ;-) but regarding this, it is only a matter of time before Slovenian books run out in stores as well.

For those who might have a warranty claim (due to printing issues with the first printing), we had a few hundred copies printed with the first printing mark so that you can keep your code even in case of a book replacement. Books from the first edition differ from all translations and the second Slovenian printing in that their code allows personal access to the author via email. This access is (and will be) enabled only for the 7777 owners of the first printing of the book [psi]. As of today, every book from the first printing has also gained its own value, as you can now sell these books back to the publisher ... yes, you heard right! 😉 As of today, the base price for buying back books is half of the purchase price, and all signed books have double the value from the start. Books with round numbers 1000, 2000, 3000 have 4x the starting value, and the lucky owners of the very first serial numbers now own books with a value of 7,777 EUR (these are books with serial numbers from 14 to 99). Books with serial numbers from 1 to 13 are currently excluded from trading as they are owned by book characters and therefore must not be publicly accessible. Three books have exceptional value; these are books with serial numbers 77, 777, and 7777 (I have the first one myself). Each of these has a buyback price of 77,777 EUR (since both owners are quite wealthy, I hope they won't sell these two books back to me right now ;-)) ... both have a lot of merit regarding the book, which is why they received books with special serial numbers. Books donated through the free book forms are temporarily excluded from buyback. How the buyback works: If you want to sell your book, you must photograph the front and back of the book, the right edge with the silver gilding, the spine, the front and back of the silver box, and the page with the serial number (the right half with the personal code must be covered). Then send the seven photos to info@psi.si. For buyback, the books must be without major damage, uninscribed, and not otherwise damaged on any page. The silver boxes must also be in undamaged condition. In the message, you must add your details, address, and the price at which you are willing to sell the book, or we will inform you of the price at which we are willing to buy the book back. If you agree with the offer, you can send the book to the P.O. Box (the box number will be in the reply) and the agreed amount will be transferred to you. The starting prices of the books are lower because the publisher is currently the only provider for buyback. In case of demand from other buyers, the highest submitted offer for buyback will be chosen. Finally, I would like to explain why I decided on this buyback. (It's not about you writing to me too much! ;-)) ... it's a marketing move, but this time intended for those who, through the purchase of the book, enabled the translations and its further expansion (and also an answer to all those who claimed it wasn't worth its price! 😉 ... unlike other (non-antique) books, which you can most likely sell only for change, by purchasing this book you became the owner of a small piece of movable property. Beside its (priceless) substantive value, it now also has its own "material" value. How this value will change over time is left to chance! 😉 This is also my thank you for the trust to all who were willing to pay the requested price for this book (many even without knowing anything about it).
