When we shape our personality (world), we are unaware of everything we have built into this world just because of our environment. Because our environment is far from "natural" for a human being, increasing conflicts arise within the people who are part of this society. Currently, society is following the path of Reason—the dominance of this mind in society—which brings more and more conflict into the worlds of those who are not ruled by Reason. Unaccepting people near us—especially parents or educators—have the greatest influence on our world. It's about everything we then perceive and do for a sense of happiness that no longer stems from our nature but from what we mistakenly imagine makes us happy. This is why many religions offer concepts intended to lead people to happiness by giving up their (too) large and unattainable goals and desires. The REI theory shows that this is not possible—at least not in that way, as we can only give up desires with our conscious part of thinking, while the problem only escalates.
To find the path to inner satisfaction, the REI theory offers another possibility: one must discover what in our world causes this need for our desires in the first place, and here we will almost always encounter this conflict within our world resulting from false perceptions of ourselves and society that we accepted from our immediate surroundings. This is very difficult to change, as not everything is completely wrong, but we don't know what is and what isn't. This leads to non-acceptance.
There are procedures that bring our minds to temporary acceptance even in the short term, and we feel great for a while; however, if the cause of non-acceptance is not eliminated, conflict will sooner or later occur again, and we are back in a vicious circle. But now, through an understanding of the REI theory, we have more insight into all these occurrences. For most, simply understanding the differences between our worlds represents such progress that their number of internal conflicts decreases so much that they achieve a high level of the good feeling we call happiness.
Those who manage to unravel everything they do because of others—because they think something would be wrong if they were as they truly are—get even further. They begin to remove the scenery they set up in their world so that others would see them as more perfect and they could more easily achieve acceptance. It is these very scenes that are largely responsible for all our unachievable desires. Up to this point, everything is understandable, but it is very difficult to imagine all these connections between our world and our desires, which we imagine would lead us to a sense of happiness, which is nothing more than a sense of satisfaction in all three minds (Reason, Emotion, and Instinct).
EXAMPLE: Person X accepts a perception into their world in early youth that attraction between partners is conditioned by visual attractiveness. This is something you simply cannot avoid in our world, as this message lurks from most advertisements, magazines, movies... The question is whether this is true, and you will be surprised by the answer... yes, of course it is true! But not for everyone equally! Visual attractiveness is most important to those ruled by Emotion (most men), especially that part of men ruled by visual Emotion. Only visual Emotions recognize common standards of aesthetics; therefore, they can identify those who meet them and highlight them in that regard. None of this is a problem unless we mistakenly imagine that this is the only and main key to attraction. And because we might not attract the person we wish to attract, we quickly link this to not fulfilling our visual nature (we conclude we are not "beautiful enough" to be attractive!). Let us point out again that this is a completely unnatural conclusion, yet it is built into many worlds and forms the basis of many facades. Such a person begins to strive excessively to perfect their aesthetics. It starts with clothing, a style through which they want to be like those they find cool, then comes dieting, makeup, hairstyles, and when all that fails, cosmetic surgery. If such a person does not encounter the understanding of the REI theory in the meantime, they are in great trouble! They can never achieve universal attraction because they do not know that they are visually completely different in every world.
Common aesthetic standards are held only by a small number of people; everyone else has their own, or it is a completely irrelevant component of attraction in their world. Person X, however, may still start interpreting things in the wrong direction, and inner dissatisfaction escalates. The facades they build in this direction require "external validation," so this person will constantly seek people in their environment to confirm this—something they don't believe in themselves—and it is logical that this does not work. Thus, based on false perceptions from the environment, such a person is condemned to dissatisfaction and non-acceptance. Their behavior, of course, also makes others unhappy, as such a person will find it very difficult to remain faithful to their partner. No partner can provide permanent validation of their facades, so they need a new one, someone who ranks even higher in terms of validation... and we have only processed a minor thing as an example, while there are thousands of similar false perceptions in our world. The problem is that such a partner cannot create a quality relationship at all.
